Welcome to my blog. I hope it will
bring a smile to your face! Now I want to talk about a unit my blog will be
doing for a few weeks. We are going to learn about various life lessons.
Considering myself a very insightful thirteen year old, I want to show lessons
that I have learned so far.
Well, today’s lesson is about
growing up. Well when you are little, yes you want to grow up so fast. But
let’s go back to the basics. What exactly does it mean to grow up? Some say it
is responsibility, some say it is when your body matures, some say it is when
you stop making mistakes, some say it is when you stop playing pretend.
My perspective on the issue is,
personally, we never grow old unless we are willing to let it happen. I say
growing up and growing old are two different things. When one grows old, one
ages by years. When one grows up, one yields the power to make choices.
Now on to the topic of choices, you
make thousand of choices everyday. This is where growing up ties in. Growing up
doesn’t always mean making the right choices, sometimes it means learning from
your mistakes. You must learn to accept your mistakes, but you must also do
your best to fix it. Now sometimes, if you hurt someone’s feelings, the healing
and forgiving is done by that person. But you must honestly grow up and tell
them you are sorry for what you have done or said. Then help them heal. That is
growing up.
Quote of the Day:
“Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future.”

I hope you clearly understand. Now
it is time for a comment question…What does growing up mean to you?
Signing off today…
Remy
